About Our Program
Our LAP-BAND® surgical weight loss program utilizes an integrated approach focusing on the long term successful and permanent weight loss in severely obese patients. Extensive bariatric education before, during, and after your surgery with our team of physicians, nurses, dieticians, and support staff is designed to insure each and every patient’s long-term success.
Dr. Billy is instrumental in the training of surgeons in the Lap-Band® System and was involved in the development of the first laparoscopic bariatric program in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. He is Director of Bariatric Surgery at St. John’s Regional Medial Center in Oxnard.
Our team of anesthesiologists, operating room staff, and nurses has extensive experience in the care of obese patients undergoing bariatric operations.
In addition to our outstanding bariatric team we have dedicated medical and surgical subspecialty physicians who are available to care for any related medical problem in order to ensure your success.
Multiple monthly support groups, each monitored by a member of our bariatric staff, have been established to assist each post-operative patient through their journey. In addition we offer the services of a bariatric nutritionist as well a diverse team of psychologists experienced in the evaluation and follow up of bariatric patients.
